I think I could eat kilos and kilos of hummus, I love that ! I spread it on a slice of whole wheat bread with seeds or with raw vegetables. You can also add it to your buddha bowl or salads. I saw lately a youtuber who makes salad dressings with it. It is mixed with a little water and lemon juice. I haven’t tried yet but it will not be long…
Hummus is a really simple preparation. You can do it in just two minutes with few ingredients. You can also customize it as you wish. With herbs, various spices or do it nature. I had already posted on the blog a recipe of hummus with herbs, really delicious.
I sometimes buy some. Only, the industrial hummus is very often made with 25% of oil. It is not very healthy… I find it elsewhere too fat to taste (although it’s still very good!). So, as it’s really nothing to do, I think the home-making is much better. You know what you put there (something that is not the case in an industrial version).
I come out again one of my favorite spices: the ras el hanout. This fits very well with hummus. I’ll let you discover the video. You’ll see, it’s mega simple!

Vegan / Gluten free
Preparation time : 5 minutes
1 can chickpeas
1 tsp tahini (or sesame purée)
salt and pepper
1 tsp ras el hanout
1 tsp olive oil
