Yes, I know, I was like you before. Sweet potato in brownies? Yuck! Well I was stupid. Mégane had prepared for La Guinguette d’Angèle sweet potato brownies, so I could taste it. The visual already made me really want. Believe me, once you have tasted not even a stuffy, all your prejudices will be evaporated. It’s really delicious and healthy too! Then of course, there still has dates that are very sweet and will not be abused but it is a good vegan and gluten free option.
But this post is mostly made for a new novelty !!! I opened my Youtube channel! I wanted for quite some time now but I did not have a minute to take care of and it takes a lot, even for 2:45 min video … But I’m thrilled and excited to show you the result! I hope this is just the first of many! I would also like to use it to talk about my project, that of becoming vegan. But I have to do things well.
Well, I hope you like it (remember that this is my first!) and you can subscribe to my channel. You can find the recipe at the bottom of the article 😘

Preparation time : 30 minutes / Cooking time : 15 minutes + 15 minutes
Recipe by Meg & Cook
1 1/2 cup (250 g) sweet potato puree
15 (120 g) dates
1/2 cup (60 g) whole sugar
3 tbsp (50 g) coconut oil
1 1/4 cup (110 g) buckwheat flour
1/2 cup (50 g) cocoa powder
a few squares of chocolate or chocolate chips
1 handful pecans
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of sea salt
60 g (2.1 oz) chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Cook cubes of sweet potato steamed for about 15 minutes.
Once cooked, mix in a food processor to get a puree. Add the dates, the whole sugar and cocoa powder. Mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Towards the flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and melted coconut oil. Mix.
Pour into a bowl. Add the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (in the quantity you want), then the pecans. Mix preparation.
Pour into a dish covered with baking paper. Bake for 15 minutes in an oven at 400°F (200°C) (preheated).
Realizing the frosting by melting chocolate, coconut oil and maple syrup. Spread frosting over top of cake.
Let cool before serving. The best according to Mégane is refrigerate it and I think she’s right! It’s better.
