After the exams and the end of college I was a bit on the kneecaps. I did not want anything and I was “gray” I was told. We had to solve this problem. Luckily, my grandparents were on the Ile de Ré. I am rendered a few days here to have a rest, walk on the beach and sunbathing next to the pool.
It made me the greatest good! I am revitalized and ready if I have to revive me in revisions on failure to my part (I am a defeatist eternal). In short, I really enjoyed the few days to relax.
I went to the market daily. I love to go to the market, whatever it is. I think it is nice to walk among the fruits, vegetables, spices and olive aromas and fresh fish. I always want to buy everything!
Unfortunately, I was not able to swim in the ocean, the water was too cold to fearful Parisian I am. I contented myself by the pool. Then I had a great ride in a small boat with a family friend. The sea is really relaxing.
I also advance in my book. It’s crazy but in the busy lives we lead, I find it increasingly difficult to read. In those few days, I was fascinated by Inferno by Dan Brown. I’ve never stop to reading (3 hours without a break when I return by train). The most fun in this book is that it tells a great number of works or buildings that I could study this year at the Sorbonne. It’s nice to recognize them and say “but of course!” by discovering the rest of the story. I can highly recommend it, D.Brown is a writer as there are few. His research is so advanced that we learn many things with pleasure.
So here I am back in Paris with full-waves head.
